Dominic Haynes was just 18 years old when he captivated the audience with his blind audition in season 16 of The Voice. He chose to perform the song River by Leon Bridges and with his raspy voice managed to perfectly capture the soulfulness of the song. His timing was perfect and he very authentically transpired the themes of redemption and inner peace that the song inhibits. Adam Levine praised Dominic and said he was his favorite singer in all 16 seasons that he had spent on the show as a judge.
