Hannah’s father, Frank, suffered a tragic fate in 28 Days Later. While scavenging for supplies, Frank accidentally became infected after a drop of contaminated blood fell into his eye. Realizing his transformation was imminent he urged his daughter and companions to stay away. His sudden infection forced the group to make a heartbreaking decision. The military arrived and shot him before he could fully turn into a zombie. The scene was devastating for Hannah who lost her only remaining family.
