Natasha Romanoff’s death in Avengers: Endgame was one of the most emotional moments in the Marvel franchise. She gave her life to retrieve the Soul Stone and ensure the Avengers had a chance to reverse Thanos’s snap. She fought Clint Barton on Vormir because both wanted to make the sacrifice, but she ultimately forced him to let her go. Her death was devastating because she had spent years trying to make up for her past and this moment proved how much she had changed. Natasha had been a core part of the Avengers since the beginning and her sacrifice allowed them to complete their mission and save the universe.
