Yondu’s death in Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 delivered one of the most emotional moments in the series. He gave Peter Quill his spacesuit and died in the vacuum of space to save him. His final words, “He may have been your father, but he wasn’t your daddy,” revealed how much he loved Peter and saw himself as his real father. Yondu’s sacrifice hit hard because it showed how far he had come since his early days as a criminal. His funeral brought the Ravagers together to honor him, giving the scene a sense of closure and respect.
