Timothy Racket’s The Star is an animated biblical film starring Steven Yeun as Boaz a young mill donkey.

The film is set in 9 months B.C., where young Bo escapes the miller he used to work for with the help of an old donkey. He is later adopted by Mary and Joseph. After encountering the star he believes that his life might change for the better and tries to join the Royal Caravan to Nazareth but stays behind for Mary’s sake and to protect her.

The 2012 film, Good Deeds was directed by Tyler Perry who also starred in the movie as Wesley Deeds III. The movie follows the story of Perry’s Wesley who is the CEO of Deeds Corporation.

He struggles to understand the cleaning lady, Lindsey’s ( Thandiwe Newton) challenges and choices in raising her daughter Ariel without any money and no place to live. He tries to make the mother and daughter’s condition a little better and begins to form a bond with them.

The film follows four couples who go on a retreat to improve their relationships.

The movie starts with Hattie Mae asking Jonathan Dupree to solve her son, Horace John Boyd’s (Joshua Boone) murder case from 40 years ago. She gives him letters that will get him to know Bayou or Horace.

However, as he is trying to get rid of the letters he notices that the letters were addressed to Leanne J. Harper. Through the letters, he finds out, Leanne, who is his mother, and Bayou’s tragic love story which ended after a mob lynching that killed Bayou.

The film follows the story of the 6888th Central Postal Directory Battalion which was an all-female and all-black battalion in World War II. The Black Women's Army Corps was sent to Britain to improve the logistics which had been stuck due to the War and had impacted the incoming letters to the US. They sail through the Atlantic Ocean without a naval escort and also face racism on their arrival in Britain.

They appear in a talk show The Daily Rip to share the news which is hosted by Cate Blanchett’s Brie Evantee and Tyler Perry’s Jack Bremmer. Both of them do not take Mindy and Kate’s news seriously and try to pass it as a joke to not scare their audience.

Tyler Perry plays the character of Tanner Bolt who becomes the attorney of Nick as he is popular for handling cases where men are suspected to commit uoxiricide.
