The English actress, Helen Mirren is widely acclaimed for her roles in theatre, television, and film. With a prominent career of about 60 years, she has delivered some of the most iconic performances in The Madness of King George, Prime Suspect, and that of Queen Elizabeth II in The Queen, which earned her the Academy Award. In 2003 she was appointed Dame Commander of the Order of the British Empire (DBE) by Prince Charles.
