In this era of digital addiction and hyper-connectivity, we seem to be constantly gaping at those blank screens for any reason whatsoever. And you might as well be suffering from the very Gen Z “fear of missing out” syndrome if you're not on social media sharing, liking, and commenting on every moment of not only your life but others. Celebrities are known for their public image and the social media platforms have built a space for their fans to directly connect with them. However, not every star in Hollywood is quite fond of the idea of fans taking a non-stop sneak peek into their personal lives. And so, they have steered away from the controversial online community, hoping people love them solely for their hard work and talent. Here are 15 actors who seem to be pretty happy with their offline lifestyle.

1) Brad Pitt

The world-famous actor celebrated for his versatile roles in the film industry, Brad Pitt, refuses to hop on social media because he seems to find it futile. He highlighted that he didn't quite see a point and that his life turned out pretty well without it.

In the 2012 GMA interview for the movie Cosmopolis, Robert Pattinson mentioned how he is against giving up control over his personal life to the public. He rather prefers being recognized for his work.
