On Emmerdale tonight, Laurel is horrified, Mandy discovers that it is Ella’s 30th birthday tomorrow, and Gabby and Vinny grow closer.
Emmerdale tonight: Laurel gets mediation advice
Laurel warns Gabby that Jai is a negotiator and that she should be on her toes at mediation. Laurel runs into Ruby, who introduces herself and then advises her to take Jai for all he’s got.
Tom spots Belle on her laptop but can’t see what she’s doing, so he lets himself into her house later to find out. He figures out her new password and installs an app to monitor her screen when she uses the computer. As Belle comes home through the front door with Lydia, Tom leaves through the back.
Vinny tells Gabby he wants to spend time with her, but she doesn’t want to ask Laurel to watch Thomas. Vinny says he’d like to spend time with Thomas too, and they go to the park. Gabby is worried Vinny will see Thomas as baggage, but he doesn’t. He tells Gabby that Liv would approve of them being together because Gabby is amazing.
Emmerdale tonight: Jai drops a bombshell at mediation
Jai unnerves Laurel by showing up late and acting like he’s rational. He tells the mediator to let Laurel say what she wants first, assures them that he won’t be difficult, and says he has only the kids’ best interests in mind.
When they discuss finances, Jai drops the bomb, saying he has no money. Laurel says she transferred her money to him yesterday to buy him out at The Hide. Jai smugly devastates Laurel by announcing that he sold all his properties to family members and used all the money he had to pay off debts.
Emmerdale tonight: Tom breaks into Belle’s house and laptop
Tom uses spyware to see Belle requesting a domestic violence report. He is upset when Belle researches ‘how to tell your family you’re a victim of domestic abuse.’
Laurel updates Gabby after mediation. Gabby says that Jai is taking a massive risk if he’s hiding assets and faking documents. Laurel laments that she can’t take the stress of arguing over everything. Gabby tells Laurel that the solicitor will ensure that Jai doesn’t get anything.
Ella has lunch with Mandy and Meena at The Hide. When she leaves, she forgets her wallet, and her driver's license falls out. Her friends realize that it’s her 30th birthday tomorrow and want to plan a celebration.
Emmerdale tonight: Tom is holding a major secret
Tom asks his friend from uni to come over and talk about his divorce. He tells him that his wife has mental issues and is accusing him of abuse. His friend tells him that if the police haven’t contacted him, then she hasn’t presented evidence and to just let her demonstrate how vindictive she is.
Jai goes to see Caleb and is worried about hiding his money. Caleb tells him that none of his friends have had a problem doing it and he’ll be fine. Jai notes that when he was acting reasonably at mediation, it felt nice. Caleb tells him to put himself first. Jai agrees and pulls off his wedding ring before doing paperwork. Ruby comes home as Jai leaves, and Caleb notes he is surprised that Jai is so trusting. “I almost felt sorry for him,” Caleb scoffs.
Belle lays Piper’s collar on her gravesite as she says how much she misses her. Meanwhile, Tom arrives at a couple’s home and opens the door of his car’s backseat. There, Piper is waiting with a collar on. He brings the dog to the door and hands her off to the couple who seem to be expecting her. Tom reiterates to the couple how he saved Piper from a woman who tied her up outside all night while she was whimpering. The man asks if that awful woman will come looking for Piper, but Tom says she won’t even realize the dog is gone.
