Tonight on Emmerdale, Vinny worries if he's enough for Gabby, Sarah feels ignored, and Belle must make a gut-wrenching decision.

Emmerdale tonight: Tom and Rhona try to save Piper
Belle calls Tom, but he doesn’t answer. Rhona tells Tom they tried searching for Piper all night and comforts him with Lydia. Lydia feels awful and says Piper must have gotten out when she came in to get Sam’s birthday cake. Tom says he’ll explain to Belle what happened so that Lydia doesn’t have to.
Charity wanted Sarah to feel like a real family member and claimed to carry on an 18th birthday tradition by stealing a car with her and joy-riding it through the back streets of Hotten.
Emmerdale tonight: Belle makes a heartbreaking decision
Belle finds out the truth about Piper, but Tom tells her there is nothing else to do now but let her go so she doesn’t suffer. Belle says tearful goodbyes, then steps out of the room while Tom puts Piper down. They embrace and cry with each other afterwards.
Tom is upset and doesn’t want to work the rest of the day. He asks Belle if they can walk home together. Tom tells Belle that she needs to be careful now about her mental health and that he will be there for her over the next few weeks when the grief is affecting her.
Belle realizes that Tom did this to Piper. She recalls how she was sick, and he saved her before and knows that he did it again. Rhona overhears and backs up Tom, but Belle doesn’t believe it.
Tom implies that Belle is unstable and might be off her meds. He victimizes himself and says that even when Belle is screaming at him, he still loves her.
Emmerdale tonight: Vinny has bad timing and no filter
Gabby notes that this is the first profit they’ve seen in months, but Jai comes in to tell Laurel about working harder. They all bicker, and he announces he is selling his shares to the highest bidder.
Vinny comes in to spend time with Gabby, but she has the attention of a customer she calls “Handsome Chris.” Gabby teases Vinny that he’s jealous. Vinny’s worried that he’s not performing well when they are intimate but feels distracted that Laurel and others are around. Gabby laughs him off and goes back to Handsome Chris.
When Vinny comes home, he sees Charity and Sarah returning and comments about the car being Joey’s. When Sarah confirms it wasn’t stolen, Vinny scoffs that Charity has the keys.
Sarah is upset that Charity doesn’t understand how she feels. She knows she has a horrible illness but wants to live the life of a normal 19-year-old, not be faking stealing cars for excitement.
Charity gives the keys to Vinny and tells him to add some excitement to his time with Sarah for her sake, suggesting that as Vinny isn’t too experienced, he might bore her.
Gabby tells her mum that she doesn’t have the cash to buy Jai’s shares. Laurel suggests that she will remortgage her house to buy them if Gabby wants her as a partner. Gabby is 100% in favour of this idea.
Emmerdale tonight: Belle tells Tom she wants out
Belle goes to Lydia to ask if Tom had been at the house before Piper was hit by the car. Lydia tells Belle that he wasn’t but that the lock is broken, and must have shifted, and that was how Piper got out.
Tom pulls up to interrupt, and Belle is more upset, trying to tell Lydia that Tom killed Piper. Lydia takes Belle away as Tom smiles.
Tom comes to Belle’s and pleads his case that he has no idea what happened to Piper but Belle doesn’t believe him. Tom starts yelling at Belle, but she tells him that he always twists everything, and she can see him for who he is now.
“You’re nothing but a sick, manipulative bully, and I can’t be anywhere near you,” Belle tells Tom. She says that the sight of him makes her skin crawl, and wants him to leave. Tom tells Belle she is an ungrateful, self-obsessed b*tch, and all he did was love her.
Belle says he tried to control her, and she wants out of the marriage. Tom sneers that she’ll regret it, threatening to see how it works out for her if she tries. He leaves Belle crying and shaking.
