Tonight on Emmerdale, the day after the wedding brings some major changes that can’t be undone.
The morning after reuniting, Gabby tells Vinny that she is glad she was his first, but now she thinks they should just keep it fun. He wants to know if she could meet him later at the pub for Sam’s birthday, but she doesn’t want that. However, she’s up for a round two later if Vinny’s keen. Spoiler: he is.
Charity is worried about Sarah when she doesn't find her in bed that morning, but Mack calls Charity to the garage to show her that Sarah is sleeping in John’s van. Sarah explains that she lost her keys, but Charity lectures Sarah for taking such a risk by drinking.
Emmerdale tonight: It’s Sam’s birthday celebration
Lydia visits Belle and invites her to Sam’s birthday at the pub. Belle doesn’t want to go but Lydia insists it would be good for her to be around family, and lets her bring Piper. Lydia assures Belle that if Tom shows up, they can ask him to stay away.
When Belle gets to the pub, John is waiting near the door. He asks her to talk, and she reluctantly agrees. He offers for her to buy the Mini since she doesn’t want it as a gift, but Belle is not interested. Belle reiterates that it’s time for them both to move on and asks Tom to leave. As she tries to walk away, Tom grabs her wrist tightly and sits her back down as he tells her that he decides where he goes, and where he doesn’t go. Belle looks terrified.
Nate tries to get to know John at work, but he’s not interested. When Mack arrives, he tells Nate he’s better off not trying, and calls John dodgy.
After Tom leaves, Amelia gets upset at Belle and tells her that Tom doesn’t deserve to be sent away like that. Lydia and Sam tell Belle to start a new, happier chapter in her life.
Emmerdale tonight: Vinny gets Aaron’s approval to move on
John and Victoria banter with Mack and Aaron until a dart game is challenged. Mackenzie, Nate, and John each put in $100, and everyone watches them play. Aaron tells Vinny it’s okay for him to move on with Gabby, and encourages him to be happy. John takes his winnings and leaves, but Aaron doesn’t look happy when Victoria says that John has a dating app on his phone.
Outside, Tom kneels next to the Mini and pulls off a GPS tracker from inside the wheel well. He drives off but spots Piper on the road. Tom pauses, then hits the gas pedal.
Emmerdale tonight: Tom goes too far for Belle’s attention
As Belle walks outside, Tom is waiting in his car. When he sees her, he jumps out and gets Piper, wrapped in a towel, from the backseat. Tom yells at Belle to not look or come over, but, of course, that makes her look. He calls out that he found Piper on the road, hit by a car, but that he’ll save her as he runs off with the dog, as Belle chases after them.
