Emmerdale tonight: Belle returns and Tom has surprises
On Emmerdale, Nicola and Jimmy are nervously awaiting a call from Angel's solicitor at the cafe when Rhona comes in. She asks if Tom is coming into work to cover if Mandy and Paddy get married. Jimmy says they haven't heard from him, but he knows Tom is waiting for Belle as he has a surprise for her.
Charity sees Tom on his phone and tells him she hopes he wasn't texting Belle. She advises him not to appear creepy and, when she returns, to just let Belle be.
Victoria sees John's van parked outside the garage again and asks Mackenzie to open it to see if John is in it. It's empty but smells bad after being in the river. Victoria tells Mackenzie to tell John that she is looking for him when he returns to the van.
Belle comes home and Sarah is waiting in front of a car. She hands her the keys and tells her it's a gift from Tom, who watches while hidden behind the shrubbery.
Emmerdale tonight: Paddy makes a decision
Mandy is preparing for her wedding day while Paddy is rethinking everything. After wandering the town, he returns home where Marlon and Bear are waiting for him. Marlon and Bear argue over what he should do.
Bear thinks Mandy has humiliated Paddy and he needs to call off the wedding, while Marlon says Paddy needs to at least talk to Mandy and hear her out.
Bear asks his son if he wants to marry Mandy. As soon as Paddy says he does not, Bear leaves to cancel everything and spread the word that the wedding is off. Marlon wonders if Paddy will regret this decision, and he says he already does.
At the pub, Mackenzie asks Sarah to stay and help him fix the van, offering her money for her help. She tells him she doesn't need it as Tom gave her 200 quid as a finder's fee for getting Belle a car. Charity overhears and wants to check on Belle.
Belle comes downstairs with a laundry basket and is taken aback to find Tom in her house. He holds flowers and makes himself home on the sofa with Piper, ignoring how tense and scared Belle seems.
When Tom tells Belle that he wants to talk about getting back together, she gives him back the key to the car and says she can't accept it.
Calling Piper away from him, she tells Tom that she doesn't want to reunite. "I need space, Stop contacting me," Belle says. Tom tells her this is not how their story ends and asks her not to do this to him.
Tom tells Belle that she overthinks and her brain can't cope with things like this. He tells her he'll give her a week to change her mind. Belle tells him adamantly that she needs zero contact and clear boundaries.
Tom slams the wall angrily, sneering that she'd like it if he went away. "Are you saying what I think you're saying?" Belle asks. Tom says he misses her, and he's sad all the time and says "Life is just not with living without you," Belle tells Tom that she doesn't want him to hurt himself again, but she can't see or speak to him and has to put herself first.
Tom reaches out to touch her shoulder, and she steps back in fear. Tom asks if this is her final decision, and when Belle confirms it is, he leaves.
Emmerdale tonight: Mandy finds out her wedding is cancelled
Mandy is almost ready in her wedding dress and crown when Bear enters the salon. He asks her in front of Vinny if she did what she promised, and Mandy insists she did. Charles calls, and Bear tells him that the wedding is off.
When he hangs up, he tells Mandy that he was the customer who couldn't turn his camera on, and Mandy realizes that Paddy knows everything. "Whatever he's about to tell you, don't judge me, and I'll explain later," Mandy calls out to Vinny as she runs off to find Paddy.
Paddy tells Marlon that he loves Mandy but not what she did. Marlon implores him to talk to Mandy and not throw their relationship away. "Talking solves things," Marlon insists.
Mandy arrives at Paddy's, crying. He tells her she looks breathtaking, and then she tearfully explains what she did and why. Mandy insists she didn't cheat.
She points out it was on the internet, and she was the one in control. "I'm not a prostitute," Mandy says. Paddy tells her that he doesn't have a problem with what she was doing; it is the lying that he can't tolerate.
Emmerdale tonight: Paddy and Mandy try to un-cancel their wedding
Paddy asks Mandy to promise never to lie to him again, but Mandy says no. She tells him that everyone lies and asks if he likes her beef stew. He says he did but then laughs and agrees everyone lies sometimes.
He asks why she lied to him, and Mandy explains that she didn't want to hurt him, but she also didn't want him to see her as a failure. "You're successful and talented, and I'm a liability and a loser," Mandy cries.
Paddy tells Mandy she is a generous, kind-hearted, and independent woman. "I don't deserve you," Mandy says. Paddy tells Mandy that they are a team and her problems are their problems.
He offers to give her the money to pay her debts, but she says she'll only borrow it from him and pay it back. When they decide to proceed with the wedding, they realize that Bear has cancelled everything already. "We're not beaten yet," Mandy says.
Mandy and Paddy split up to look for Charles. They find him at his house and ask him to go ahead with the ceremony. Charles relents, but says he has a funeral service soon, so it will have to be quick.
Everyone reassembles at the church while Charles speeds through the wedding vows. As soon as the groom kisses the bride, Charles kicks everyone out.
Charity visits Belle to check on her and hears about her conversation with Tom. Charity is proud of her for standing her ground.
After the wedding, Bear asks Mandy and Paddy if they've each made the right decision, and they say they have. "Well then, I'm very happy for you," Bear says as he pulls out a flask and starts drinking.
Emmerdale tonight: A surprise reunion for Vinny
Vinny runs into Gabby who tells him Laurel is out with the kids. He comes by Gabby's place to apologize for pushing her away. Vinny explains that someone mentioned Liv, and he got the fear.
He assures Gabby that Liv will always be with him, but he has moved on. "I lied about wanting to stay friends," Vinny adds, "I want more," Gabby tells Vinny that she does, too, and they kiss. They both agree they're "ready for more" and go upstairs.
Kerry visits Bob and asks if he is hiring, but he isn't. She makes her way through the town, and when she can't find anyone to hire her, she asks Chas for her job back.
At Woolies, everyone congratulates Mandy and Paddy. Bear is drunk, gives a father-of-the-groom speech, and calls the newlyweds "soulmates." Paddy concurs in his speech, thanking everyone for coming. "No one should miss a second chance at happiness, so I'm grabbing mine with both hands and never letting go," he announces.
Nicola confides in Bob about Angel's fight. She sobs that Angel was due to be released soon but now she'll be there for the whole eight months. She wonders if she'll even recognize Angle when she's released.
Emmerdale tonight: Peeping Tom
Outside at the pub, Victoria sees John, and they talk. He tells her that he wouldn't just leave town without telling her. John says he'll stick around until his van is done, but he doesn't want to stay at Victoria's place as it's too noisy.
John says he'll kick the ball around with Harry anytime, though. When John gets up to buy her a glass of wine, he runs into Sarah. She tells him she could introduce him to her family if he would like, but John says he's had enough of that.
He apologizes for how he's treated her, and she says she'll forgive him if he buys her a drink.
Charity asks Mackenzie to go to the party and find out why the wedding was almost called off. Charity has been asking everyone, but no one will tell her what happened.
She wants to check in on Belle again, but he suggests that she leave Belle alone now that Tom has backed off. She says that her spidey senses are tingling, and she's going to keep her eye on Tom.
In the pub, Paddy and Mandy dance to Frank Sinatra's Second Time Around as they tell each other how happy they are. "This time, it's forever," Paddy says.
Around town and at home, Tom is constantly looking at his phone. When we are shown his screen, it shows views from hidden cameras inside of Belle's house. Smiling creepily, he watches her talking to Piper, getting undressed for a bath, and as she lays in bed, sleeping.
