In the latest Emmerdale episode, Tom is relieved that Belle plans to return, John rejects Victoria, and Mandy's secret is discovered. Will Bear tell Paddy the truth?

Emmerdale tonight: Mandy makes a final push at her side hustle
Pollard and Victoria try to make small talk with John, but when he's asked about his time in the military, he becomes agitated and leaves. "I see what you mean; he's not the easiest person to get to know," Pollard says. Victoria says she tried encouraging John to stay, but he decided he was not sticking around.
Paddy is hungover and tells Bear he had a good night last night with Marlon. Mandy stops by to tell Paddy about her hen party. She hints that she has plenty to do for a surprise she has planned for Paddy. She tells him they will walk down the aisle the next time they see each other.
Bear warns Paddy to tread carefully and asks if Paddy is sure that this marriage is what he wants. Paddy says that remarrying Mandy is like going back to where he belongs.
“In that case, I’m very happy for you,” Bear tells his son.
Wearing a mask, Mandy is yelling at her laptop and giving a "verbal spanking to rich men out there." She tells Tracy that she's just clearing off debts and can use the money to pay for a treat for Paddy. She says the last few clients will cover the cost of a dinner in a five-star restaurant in Venice. Mandy says it won't be cheap, but Paddy is worth it.
Emmerdale tonight: John makes it clear to Victoria that he doesn't want a family
While at Jack's grave, Victoria asks Pollard if he thinks her dad didn't know about John. Pollard says that Jack and Barbara weren't together long, and when she realized she didn't want the farming life, she returned to her ex. Victoria shares that John thinks his mum sent Jack a letter. Victoria adds it doesn't matter since John wants nothing to do with them. Pollard points out that John is still there and cannot get work until his van is repaired.
“Don’t give up on him just yet,” Pollard says.
Jimmy and Nicola worry as they haven't heard from the unit about Angel and whether the attack affected her release. Concerned that they don't know what happened and that Angel could be seriously injured, Tom drives to Bristol to get answers. While waiting, Belle finally responds to Tom with a text that says she'll be home the following day and that they need to talk.
Tom tells Nicola that he heard from Belle and she's coming home tonight. She asks if Tom and Nicola have settled their differences. Tom says he doesn't know but admits he shouldn't have lost his temper when she lied about her miscarriage.
“Maybe you and Jimmy could put in a good word for me?” Tom suggests.
“You and Belle are way down our list of priorities,” Nicola retorts.
Jimmy walks back in the door and explains he was halfway to Bristol when he got a call from the unit. He says that Angel admitted the truth to her supervisor that she was the bully in the attack, so they weren't allowed to see her.
“She wasn’t even remorseful,” Jimmy says.
After Tom leaves, Jimmy calls Angel a thug and says being locked up hardens people.
Back at home, Tom is on the phone, planning a surprise for Belle upon her return.
Emmerdale tonight: John makes it clear to Victoria that he doesn't want a family
John comes into Victoria's, covered in mud. She tells him she's made them lunch, but he's reluctant to take a break. When Harry asks John if he could play football with him, John agrees. Harry happily runs outside to play.
After lunch, Victoria tells John he's now Harry's best friend. John muses that his dad played rugby, not football. When he starts washing dishes, Victoria tells him he doesn't have to, but he wants to pull his weight. He says he needs to go as Moira is expecting him. Victoria suggests they have drinks later, watch a film, and have a family night.
“We’re not family,” John snaps, I shouldn’t have stopped in. I don’t need this. I’m not Harry’s uncle or your brothers. I’m just someone who’s passing through.”
Bear comes to Mandy's workplace demanding answers. He points out that Mandy claimed to be rushed off her feet, but he doesn't see any customers. He tells her that Paddy has had his heart broken enough, but Mandy insists she would never hurt his son.
“Then why are you selling your services, Madame Diamante Dales?” Bear asks.
He tells her he's heard and seen her webpage with his ears. She begs him to let her explain.
Mandy tells Bear how desperately she needs money for her overhead, maxed-out credit cards, and the honeymoon. She wants to be debt-free to start her new life with him. Bear tells her that she can't deny it's a sex thing and that she can't get married with this secret. He warns her that if she doesn't tell Paddy, he will.
Mandy cries that it will break Paddy's heart to tell him the truth and swears she loves him. Bear tells her to prove it by telling Paddy about the mess she's gotten herself into. He tells her that he can't hold the secret for her and that he can't trust her now. Mandy wakes up as she tells Bear that she's only fallen in love twice, and both times were with his son. Bear tells her that he'll keep her sordid secret, but she must immediately shut down her website.
Mandy tells Tracy about Bear's visit. She says she'll shut down the website in the morning instead as she has one more client who wants to pay her 300 quid, and she wants the money to pay for Paddy's treat. Tracy warns her that she's taking a big risk now that Bear knows.
Emmerdale tonight: The big reveal
At the pub, Paddy's enjoying a drink but notices that his dad doesn't seem alright. Bear says he wants what's best for his lad. His words are tense as he talks about knowing someone and trusting them not being the same thing. Just then, Bear's phone rings. He motions for Paddy, Marlon, and Chas Dingle to follow him to the back room.
Alone in the back, Bear opens the video chat with Mandy. She's in her feathered mask, yelling at him to turn on his camera.
“You are lucky I’ve even taken this session,” Mandy says into the camera, I’ve got a million and one things to do.”
Bear explains to Paddy, Marlon, and Chas that Mandy is charging men hundreds of pounds to be shouted at. He says he found out yesterday and didn't say anything because she promised to take it down.
“Apparently, she’s got debts,” Bear says.
Marlon asks why she would do that and on the eve of their wedding.
“If there still is a wedding,” Bear says as he looks at Paddy and asks, “Is there?”
Paddy tells them that he doesn't know.
