Days of our Lives is embarking on a "large idea" that is taking shape for Jackée Harry (Paulina Price) and some of the soap's other beloved Black characters.

Days of our Lives fans are always wondering what's going to happen next in Salem, but recent addition Jackée Harry (Paulina Price) just amped up the edge-of-your-seat feeling with a delicious tease that has viewers very excited about what's ahead on the NBC soap opera.

In a new interview with TV Insider, the 227 and Sister, Sister alum was asked about how what we currently know about Paulina -- that she has an entitled daughter, Chanel (Precious Way), and that she's building a professional relationship with Abe (James Reynolds) -- will develop in the weeks ahead. The actress gave a subtle response that promises plenty of possibilities for her Salem alter ego and those in her immediate circle.

"I don't want to give anything away and be fired. You can't trick me!" she said with a laugh before adding, "It's just great having a storyline with Black people that is so magnanimous. It's a large idea taking shape."

Naturally, that begs the question of whether or not Harry will be sticking around on DAYS long term. Her answer: "It's more we'll see how it goes. Play as it lays as they say. I'm having a good time. They are being very kind, which is nice."

Whether it's short term or long term, the actress enthuses that she is having a blast at the NBC soap opera and has really connected with her DAYS costars.

"I adore James Reynolds. He helps me so much. Everyone has been so welcoming," she shares. "Susan [Seaforth-Hayes, Julie Williams], I was her in another life. She is so witty, so clever, so bright. Brilliant. Her husband Doug [Williams, Bill Hayes], too. They're just really gracious people and are from another time. They're like old Hollywood, but they embrace the world. And I love Deidre Hall [Marlena Evans] and love me some Alison Sweeney [Sami Brady]. She is a doll and a peach."
