As DAYS' soap-within-a-soap arc reaches its final act, it's clear that the tainted cupcakes the cast received the day the new version of Body and Soul debuted was only the beginning. It's also clear that Kerry's (Derek Yates) involvement as Lady Whistleblower is just part of a larger nefarious plan.

This week, Bonnie (Judi Evans) will fall down a hospital elevator shaft in a targeted attack. Justin (Wally Kurth) believes the fall isn't an accident and the audience will see he is right when a mystery person marks an X over Bonnie's headshot. There will be more victims before this is all over, but who will succumb, and who is out to get Abe (James Reynolds) and Kate's (Lauren Koslow) Salem soap opera?

Could it be the person who first introduced Abe to Body and Soul in 2023? Abe Carver, who was once a police detective, a police commissioner, and Salem's illustrious mayor, was never a soap fan before his bout with amnesia. However, some time with a certain nurse who had decades worth of Body and Soul VCR tapes changed all that.

When Abe was recovering from his injuries under the false impression that Nurse Whitley (Kim Coles) was his wife, Paulina, he spent his days watching Whitley's favorite soap. Even after his memory returned, he could not beat his addiction to Body and Soul, which is why he owns it now.

Could Kim Coles' imminent return to DAYS as Nurse Whitley in February mean that Whitley is the person who has been trying to sabotage Body and Soul since Abe and Kate's version premiered?

Whitley was obsessed with both Abe and the soap at one time and likely still is. However, she could want revenge on Abe for a perceived portrayal when he went back to Paulina (Jackee Harry). What better way to get this revenge than to make sure that Abe's soap and its new set of actors fail miserably? Will Hattie (Deidre Hall) be her next victim, or will Kerry pay for giving away the Lady Whistleblower game?
