At school, Sophia told Tate she heard that a woman had been arrested for the hit-and-run. Tate confirmed the news but noted that his dad was still in jail for some reason. Sophia was shocked when Tate told her that Xander's mom, Fiona Cook, was arrested. "Fiona Cook? I know that bitch!" Sophia said.

Sophia explained that she had talked to Fiona in the bistro. Sophia said that she and Fiona talked about Tate and dating. Sophia said Fiona was playful, gave her a big tip, and asked her not to tell anyone she was drinking alcohol.

Sophia recalled another day when she mentioned Tate's name, Fiona freaked out and threatened her. Sophia said Fiona was worried that her family would find out she drank. Sophia said she would have told Tate sooner had she known who Fiona was.

Sophia reminded Tate that Holly was awful about his dad, and it turned out that Brady was innocent. Tate said that Holly didn't know that. Sophia suggested that when Holly found out, she would come crawling back. Tate doubted that, as it hadn't ended well. "We'll see," Sophia said cryptically.

Sophia and Tate sat in the hallway. He said that her information about Fiona might help get Brady released. Sophia said she would do anything to help Tate and his family. She told Tate he was a good son and Brady was lucky to have him. "I'm really lucky to have a friend like you," Tate said as they hugged.

Sophia and Tate almost kissed when they stood up, but the school bell rang. Tate apologized for talking through Sophia's whole lunch break. Sophia said it wasn't a problem and to let her know if she needed to testify. Tate smiled as he watched her walk to class.

At the police station, EJ walked Fiona to her cell and told Brady that he wouldn't be released. EJ said Fiona wasn't the only possible culprit, as Brady had also been finger-pointed. EJ told Brady and Fiona he was putting them together so they could hash out their two versions of the truth.

Once alone, Brady demanded that Fiona explain why she framed him. He recounted the night of the accident and how he had called Fiona in the morning. "You told me not to turn myself in, and you made me feel like I was innocent," Brady said. He asked how she could hang him out to dry and how she could have done what she did to Sarah.

Fiona said Brady didn't deserve what she put him through. She explained she was only tipsy and thought she was a better choice to drive that night, but it was dark, and the accident happened so quickly. Fiona said she had panicked but recalled Maggie's accident, and that was how she got the idea to frame Brady by putting him in the driver's seat. Brady said Fiona put him through hell, and now it was her turn to suffer.

Fiona apologized and noted she stopped Xander from breaking Brady's legs. Brady said that he had actually thanked her for that and noted that she made him feel like crap for hurting Sarah. Fiona said she almost confessed to Brady the day before and hated herself for what she had done. Brady told Fiona he never wanted to hear from her or see her face again. Fiona sobbed when Brady said he regretted ever meeting her.

Sarah found Xander in the living room. He wondered how the son of Victor Kiriaskis could be such a gullible fool. He said he should have known his mom hadn't changed and called her a drunken, heartless liar.

Xander said Fiona had disappointed him his entire life. Sarah pointed out that she was the one who got Fiona to come. She consoled Xander and said that Fiona hid it so well that there was no way for him to have seen through her. Xander said he would never forgive himself for what Fiona did to Sarah.

Xander pointed out that Fiona had confessed to them but wondered what she had told the police. Xander couldn't understand how Sarah was arrested before they had called the cops. Sarah supposed Eric had something to do with it. Xander said they should talk to the police and get Brady out of jail so Kristen would share the serum. Once Sarah was better, Xander swore they would make his mom pay for what she did.

At the police station, Xander told EJ that Fiona could rot in hell but wanted Brady released. EJ said that Sarah's memory was as reliable as Brady's. Xander said whatever issues EJ had with Brady, he didn't deserve to be behind bars. EJ asked if he was supposed to believe that Brady's memories were miraculously restored at the same time as Sarah's.

EJ thought Xander and Sarah were too desperate and wanted to know the truth. He said he wouldn't release Brady until they told him everything. Sarah said, "I'm the victim of this crime, Brady doesn't have to be one too. EJ, please, you have to let him go."

A little while later, Xander said he couldn't believe EJ stormed out without saying anything. Sarah said she prayed EJ was doing the right thing. Meanwhile, EJ told Brady to get up. "Today's your lucky day. I'm dropping the charges against you," he said. EJ opened the cell door and told Brady, "Get the hell out of my sight before I change my mind." As he walked out, Brady glanced at Fiona and saw her crying.

In Paris, "Abigail" was on the phone with her brother. He wouldn't tell her anything about Clyde, so she told Mark she trusted him to take care of that end. "Abigail" said she would let him know when she was married. After "Abigail" hung up, she held up her wedding gown in the mirror and told herself to remember what she was doing was for her mom and that she could follow through with it.

Chad was looking at a wedding photo of him and Abigail. His phone lit up with a text message from Kayla that said, "SHE'S NOT ABIGAIL," but his ringer was off. Holly arrived, and they got caught up. Holly said that things with her mom were awkward but getting better. Holly added that she missed Tate but had lost hope for a future with him.

"Abigail" came out in her dress, and Holly went to find the bouquet they had for her in the kitchen. JJ arrived, and "Abigail" said, "You must be my brother." JJ asked if she remembered him. "I wish I did, but I feel a familiar energy with you," "Abigail" said. JJ thought that was a good start.

JJ said that he knew their mom was having trouble with everything but she was happy for "Abigail," and so was he. JJ added that he was a newly ordained minister via the internet. When Holly returned to the room, they decided to get the wedding started. Chad looked for his phone to start the music but "Abigail" picked it up and saw Kayla's message.

"Abigail" quickly shut the phone off and claimed the battery died. Chad thought it was strange as the battery had been full. "Abigail" claimed she had the perfect song on her phone. JJ performed the ceremony, and they exchanged vows and rings. He declared them husband and wife, and "Abigail" told Chad she felt closer to him than ever.

After the ceremony, JJ toasted the bride with champagne. He apologized to "Abigail" for not contacting her sooner, even if it was a video chat or talking to her on the phone. Holly looked confused. She had a flashback to "Abigail," telling her she was talking to her brother the night before. Everyone looked at "Abigail" when Holly shared that information.
