Welcome to the Days of our Lives Daily Y.A.P.P. (Your After-Program Ponderings) for a quick — and by that, I mean you’re already halfway done — recap of the most amazing or what-the-heck-did-we-just-watch moments on today’s episode. Let’s get to it:

Out with the old, in with the new? Is that Jada's motto? Wasn't this the woman who couldn't wait to walk down the aisle and marry her beloved Rafe, not two months ago? Her joy when she found the real Rafe after the Arnold debacle was palpable, but now she is ready to move on after one commercial break. Jada ended things with Rafe for good, which seems to be the new writers' way of telling us that they realize that Jada and Rafe just don't work together, but she wasted no time batting her eyelashes at Shawn. She was in tears as she told Rafe it was over, but as soon as Shawn mentioned takeout and her place, she was all ears. It was like whiplash after all the drama Jada and Rafe put themselves, each other, and the audience through the last few months. DAYS even pulled out all the stops with a wedding that wasn't for this pair, only for them both to fall into bed with others, just as the going got tough. Shawn getting a phone call about Bo's condition while he and Jada shared some Chinese food will likely keep Jada out of his bed for a few episodes, but it looks like Jada has a new man and a new start without having to lift a finger. How lucky for her! Rafe? Rafe who?
