Welcome to the Days of our Lives Daily Y.A.P.P. (Your After-Program Ponderings) for a quick — and by that, I mean you’re already halfway done — recap of the most amazing or what-the-heck-did-we-just-watch moments on today’s episode. Let’s get to it:
What happened on Days of our Lives

Sarah Horton Kiriakis has always been a little self-righteous for our good, but her hypocrisy is now driving us insane. Remember when she kept the fact that she was pregnant for months and then lied about who her father's child was because she was so angry that Xander broke the law again and lied to her? Well, for someone who hates lies, she sure doesn't know how to tell the truth when it counts. First, Sarah's excuse for not telling Xander that Philip and Vivian forged that letter to Victor was that she feared Xander would kill Philip if he learned the truth. Then, she saw how well Philip and Xander were getting along and didn't want to ruin that and break Xander's heart. Well, now Xander knows the truth, his heart is broken, and he seems to have no intention of murdering Philip. But, God forbid, Sarah tells Xander that she's known this secret for months. Nope, she can't do that. Instead, she allowed Xander to rip Alex and Stephanie apart right in front of her while she didn't say a word. Sarah was the one who begged and pleaded with them to keep her secret, then she let them take the fall for her own poor choices and lies. When they didn't implicate her, Xander missed the look of relief on Sarah's face, but Alex and Stephanie didn't. Frankly, they should have gone off and ratted Sarah out right then and there. We feel no sympathy for Sarah in this scenario and hope Xander dumps her big time when he learns the truth.
