The Daily Y.A.P.P. for Days of our Lives, April 17: It's time to wrap things up

Welcome to the Days of our Lives Daily Y.A.P.P. (Your After-Program Ponderings) for a quick — and by that, I mean you’re already halfway done — recap of the most amazing or what-the-heck-did-we-just-watch moments on today’s episode. Let’s get to it:

What happened on Days of our Lives

Again, there's something to be said for the truth in Salem, but we understand why some truths are coming out now. It's time to wrap things up with one week to go until a new head writer's work begins streaming. Jada knows that Rafe slept with Sami, and now both Maggie and Xander know that the letter from Victor giving Philip half of Titan was nothing but a forgery. Not only that, but Vivian didn't leave a thing out of her story as we had expected. Instead, she confidently threw caution to the wind and told Xander everything, even the fact that the entire plan was her brainchild. After all, what did she have to lose? With Xander enraged and knowing he was duped, it's nice that the Vivian part of this is out of the way. Currently, the only person left who needs to tell the truth about this plot is Sarah. Thankfully, we don't expect to see this dragged out, and we can't wait for the moment Sarah finally fesses up. Perhaps it will happen sometime in the next week, so this storyline can end already, and everyone can move on. Will Xander and Sarah's marriage survive her lies? Will Xander realize he has told more lies (and worse lies) and forgive Sarah? These are truths we want to know, but at least it is finally all coming out, so it can be a new beginning in Salem in just one week.
