Christopher Sean's Paul just popped back into Salem in between Hollywood gigs.
Paul Narita is always a sight for sore eyes for his Salem family whenever Christopher Sean makes an appearance on Days of our Lives. This time around, Paul returned home with his boyfriend, Andrew Donovan, to attend the wedding of Andrew's sister, Theresa.
During that time, he tried to help his brother Brady deal with his lingering feelings for Theresa, to no avail. He also got to see Theresa's marriage plans blow up before her eyes when the groom, Alex, learned his bride had lied to him about his paternity. Sean, who became a part of the DAYS canvas a decade ago, is always willing to bring Paul home if he can.
"It's always a blast coming back," Sean told Soap Opera Digest. "DAYS is my first home. It gave me my first opportunity in Hollywood and a contract role."
Sean always loves seeing his co-stars and delving into the emotional material.
"[It] was fun to be on set watching Eric Martsolf [Brady Black] perform. He's so talented. It was wonderful to reconnect with so many of the cast. Seeing Paul Telfer [Xander Cook] work... He's phenomenal. He deserves all the accolades," Sean said. "And then, of course, Colton Little [Andrew Donovan] is a great talent. I'm always excited to see Deidre Hall [Marlena Evans]. I think she's amazing. I love seeing Drake [Hogestyn, John Black], too. To me, he's my father on camera and off. I absolutely love him."
Since leaving DAYS as a series regular, Sean has made quite a name for himself in the Star Wars animated universe, voicing characters in Star Wars: Resistance and Star Wars: Visions.
Most recently, the actor entered the world of movie superheroes as the lead character in the Netflix movie Ultraman: Rising. In it, Sean plays Ken Sato, a baseball player who returns to Japan and reaches hero status. It's become a standout hit on the streaming platform. Sean knew he was signing onto something special from the start.
"I wasn't surprised [by how well it performed], because when I first read the script, before we even went into production, I bawled my eyes out," Sean said. "It was one of the best scripts I'd ever read"
