If you've been anxiously awaiting word on when Louise Sorel will reprise her role as Days of our Lives' Vivian Alamain, we've got some good news. You only have to wait a few more weeks.
Louise Sorel, who played Days of our Lives' villainous Vivian Alamain, is headed back to Salem later this year. You may recall Soap Central first reporting on the fan fave's return back in March. But now, as the episodes that were taped way back then are about to be broadcast, some addition information has leaked.
Sorel, who originated the iconic role in 1992 as Lawrence Alamain's protective aunt, spent the next eight years causing havoc for Carly, Kate, and most of Salem. She will bring her infamous character back after hearing her former husband Victor Kiriakis has died.
Expect Vivian to stir up plenty of trouble for the Kiriakis clan and her former enemies.

Sorel has an extensive and rich daytime history. She played Augusta Wainwright on Santa Barbara for seven years prior to her initial DAYS run. Sorel has also appeared on One Life to Live (Judith), Port Charles (Donatella), All My Children (Judge Kay), and Passions (Dort).
Though Vivian has been played by others through the years -- including Marj Dusay, Robin Strasser, and Linda Dano -- Sorel is best associated with the character, having been back for stints from 2009 to 2011 and 2017 to 2018, with a short appearance in 2020. She was last seen trying to abduct Eli and Lani's newborn twins.
According to People, Sorel's first appearance will be September 8.
