A post about a visit to the emergency room scared fans of Days of our Lives' Patrika Darbo (Nancy Wesley), but the actress has since shared an update that brings sighs of relief.
Days of our Lives star Patrika Darbo (Nancy Wesley) took to Twitter on Friday to share that she was in the emergency room, and fans immediately began worrying that something awful had happened to the actress. As it turns out, something awful did happen, but the unfortunate accident involved her husband, director Rolf Peter Darbo, rather than the actress herself.
The post that had fans worried read, "4 hours in EMERGENCY at St. Joe's Yay happy Friday. Doesn't the word EMERGENCY suggest quickly do something? Nope!"

Several people shared concerned messages and wondered if the actress was okay, prompting Darbo to share more information.
"Hubby dropped cup. Cut himself," she wrote.
Fortunately, despite the very long wait at the hospital, Rolf ended up being okay. However, the actress shared that it took a whopping eleven stitches to fix his wound!
Darbo originated the role of DAYS' Nancy in 1998 and has been playing the character on-again, off-again since that time. She's been married to Rolf, who's known for his work on Frankenweenie and My Science Project, since 1973.
