Get ready to say "I do" to Hallmark's The Wedding Veil! Alison Sweeney (Sami Brady, Days of our Lives) has joined Lacey Chabert (ex-Bianca Montgomery, All My Children), Autumn Reeser, and Kevin McGarry in the friendship film trilogy.

Daytime fans are going to be swept off their feet by the casting of Hallmark Channel's upcoming The Wedding Veil movie trilogy. Longtime Days of our Lives favorite Alison Sweeney (Sami Brady) has signed on to star in the gal-pal collection of films with Lacey Chabert (ex-Bianca Montgomery, All My Children), Autumn Reeser, and Kevin McGarry.

The fun-filled films will follow three close but far-flung college friends who, during one of their annual trips together, discover an enchanted antique that changes each of their lives.

Chabert, who is one of the reigning queens of Hallmark, tells Good Housekeeping that she is ecstatic to take on the title of executive producer and work with two other Hallmark leading ladies in the film.

"This project is, quite literally, a dream come true for me and one that I have been deeply invested in," she enthuses. "Both Allison and Autumn are incredibly talented, smart, and wonderful women and actors. I'm thrilled to be able to finally get to work with them and tell this very special story!"

Michelle Vicary, EVP Programming at Crown Media Family Networks, adds that there is "no better way to celebrate female friendships" than with the film and its all-star lineup.

"While our channel is associated with romance, a core tenet of the Hallmark brand is celebrating love in its many facets, including family bonds and enduring friendships. Our programming is reflecting that more and more. What better way to celebrate female friendships than to bring together three beloved actors from our network, Lacey Chabert, Alison Sweeney, and Autumn Reeser."

Production just recently started on the first movie in The Wedding Veil trilogy, which means fans likely will have to wait until 2022 to see Chabert, Sweeney, and Reeser in action. But fans can get a taste of what might be in store by reading the book that inspired the films, Long, Tall Texan by Lori Wilde. The book's description sounds slightly different than the premise of Hallmark's films, but it sounds just as fun: "a Texas socialite accidentally kidnaps a recently divorced detective instead of her future husband just weeks before her wedding."
