Christmas most certainly turned out to be the most wonderful time of the year for a couple of soap opera stars. Hot on the heels of the news that Days of our Lives actor Greg Vaughan (Eric Brady) proposed to his girlfriend Angie Harmon during the holidays comes news that Jade Harlow (ex-Sheryl Connors, DAYS; ex-Jessica Bennett, Passions) also received a proposal!
The actress took to Instagram on December 30 to share the news of her engagement, which looks as if it took place in Costa Rica. "Sooo, THIS happened today!!!" Harlow enthused along with a snap of her engagement ring and a happy photo of her and her new fiancé.
Several soap stars congratulated the newly engaged pair, including Martha Madison (Belle Brady, DAYS), who wrote, "Aghhhh!!!!! Congratulations! He's a lucky guy!" and The Young and the Restless' Kate Linder (Esther Valentine), who commented, "Wow! Congrats! So very happy for you!"
Harlow starred on Passions from 2000 to 2003 and on DAYS in 2014. Her next projects will include Lifetime's The Daughter Stalker opposite Robert Adamson (ex-Noah Newman, The Young and the Restless) and the upcoming horror film Unhallowed, which also stars Tyler Christopher (ex-Stefan O. DiMera, DAYS; ex-Nikolas Cassadine, General Hospital).
