DAYS' mystery casting revealed; Jordi Vilasuso headed to NBC soap

The cat's officially out of the bag: Jordi Vilasuso (ex-Griffin Castillo, All My Children; ex-Tony Santos, Guiding Light) has been cast on DAYS.

You probably already guessed the news based on the teasers that were released last week, but it's now official: actor Jordi Vilasuso (ex-Griffin Castillo, All My Children; ex-Tony Santos, Guiding Light) is heading to Days of our Lives.

Serial Scoop reports that the actor, who won a Daytime Emmy award for his role as GL's Tony in 2003, is heading to Salem for a role that is somehow connected to Galen Gering's Rafe Hernandez. There's no word yet on when the Florida native will debut.

In addition to his upcoming DAYS role, Vilasuso stars as Isaac Santero on the Hulu series South Beach. The Bold and the Beautiful's Jacqueline MacInnes Wood (Steffy Forrester) also costars in the series.
