Mary Beth Evans is headed back to Salem later this year. The actress, who has played Days of our Lives' Kayla off and on for 25 years, will report back to work later this month.
The parade of favorites continues marching through Salem. Mary Beth Evans (Kayla Brady) is the latest fan-favorite performer to return to Days of our Lives -- but fans will have to wait a little while longer before the actress makes her first on-screen appearance.
Evans will report back to work on September 23. Those scenes, though, are not slated to air until the middle of December. In the planned storyline, Kayla and son, Joey, will return to town to help Caroline at the Brady Pub.
Don't look for Stephen Nichols (Steve "Patch" Johnson) to be headed back to town. Nichols currently appears as Tucker McCall on CBS's The Young and the Restless.
