Judi Evans is headed back to Days of our Lives to reprise one of her two Emmy-nominated roles. Evans will return as Adrienne Kiriakis this spring, a role she last played in January 2008. She also appeared as Bonnie Lockhart for four years. Evans has also appeared on Another World, Guiding Light, and As the World Turns.

Fans waiting to see how Days of our Lives will address the death of Frances Reid will have to wait a little while longer. The NBC soap's executive producer states that the show is taking its time to put together a memorial for Alice Horton because it has to be done properly.

Gabriella Rodriguez has been let for from Days of our Lives. Her character, however, will be sticking around. DAYS has cast former One Life to Live player, Camila Banus, as the new Gabi.

Stacy Haiduk's scheduled appearances on Days of our Lives next month have been scrapped. The actress has revealed that NBC dropped her because of a scheduling conflict. Haiduk has appeared previously on All My Children and The Young and the Restless.

Former Days of our Lives star Deidre Hall has filed a lawsuit against her former fan club president, Cathleen Paradis, alleging, among other things, that Paradis refuses to return control of the deidrehall.com web site to Hall, and that Paradis has sold unauthorized photographs of Hall. Paradis, meanwhile, has fired back, saying that Hall never paid her for her services.

Two years ago, Emmy-winning actress Susan Flannery (ex-Laura Horton, Days of our Lives) caused some fans' hearts to skip a beat when she hinted that she might consider retirement "in another year or so." Now, an upcoming storyline, in which Stephanie Forrester learns that she has cancer, has renewed fears that Flannery might be on her way out.
