What will Days of our Lives' Jada do now that 'Rafe' said "I Don't?" Elia Cantu drops hints

Jada Hunter's dream wedding turned into a nightmare on Days of our Lives, and she doesn't know why. The bride got all the way down the aisle to meet her groom and take her vows, only for him to announce he couldn't marry her.

Before Jada (Elia Cantu) even made it to the church, she confided in her maid of honor, Stephanie (Abigail Klein), that something had seemed off with Rafe (Galen Gering) for weeks now. She chalked it up to wedding jitters, but something still nagged at her.

Nevertheless, Jada decided to go on with the show, never expecting drama before "Rafe" even made his declaration. Javi (Al Calderon) stood up to tell everyone that his cousin (who is not his cousin) slept with the stripper from his bachelor party but never got the words out. Instead, Jada became a jilted bride, leaving her completely baffled.

Little does Jada know that the man she nearly married remains is an imposter named Arnold Feniger, and the real Rafe is holed up in the DiMera tunnels. He nearly escaped after knocking EJ (Daniel Feuerriegel) out, but EJ's trusty secretary Rita (Maggie Carney) put an end to that idea.

On Monday, Jada will have to come to terms with what happened at her wedding, and it looks like it won't be pretty at all.

Needless to say, Jada is stunned by Rafe's announcement and wants to know what the heck went wrong. Rafe never gave any indication that he didn't want to marry her so why would he say such a thing at the most inopportune moment? They made it all the way down the aisle and now he changed his mind?

"She’s very lost, confused, gutted, and heartbroken," Elia Cantu said in an interview with Soap Opera Digest. "She’s devastated and just horrified. It’s so embarrassing, too. She’s just humiliated. That’s the word. She’s humiliated, and she’s hurt. It feels like a horrible dream to her."

That doesn't mean that Jada won't strike back. She might be heartbroken, but she is also furious.

"There is some anger in there, but it’s more hurt than anger," Cantu explained. "At this stage, I would say that the hurt definitely overrides the anger. However, I will tease that after all this is said and done, she is angry. And you may see some action. Let’s just say that. I don’t know if it’s a punch, but you’re going to see some action towards Arnold. She’s going to finally reach her breaking point, and there will be a moment. So just hold tight for that."
