JJ and Paige's Happily Ever After: Days of our Lives stars Casey Moss and True O'Brien get ready for their real-life wedding

It's been nearly 10 years since Days of our Lives' JJ Deveraux lost his first true love, Paige Larson. In real-life, the actors behind the two characters, Casey Moss and True O'Brien, have been happily playing out their own love story that will soon culminate in a magical wedding.

Days of our Lives stars ready to wed

Moss and O'Brien each took to their Instagram stories this past weekend to share snaps from their wedding shower, thrown by O'Brien's aunts and hosted by her cousin, actress Hailee Steinfeld.

The DAYS actors have been together since they became Salem love interests in 2015 and became engaged in 2022. At the time, Moss posted a video of the proposal with a quote from Robin Williams' character in Good Will Hunting:

"People call these things imperfections, but they're not. Oh, that's the good stuff. and then we get to choose who we let into our weird little worlds. You're not perfect sport, and let me save you the suspense; this girl you meet, she's not perfect either. But the question is whether or not you're perfect for each other."

Romance gone wrong in Salem

JJ and Paige's on-screen romance ran into a roadblock when JJ couldn't resist Paige's mother and had an affair with Eve (Kassie DePaiva). When Paige found out, she tore JJ an Eve apart in scenes that won O'Brien a Daytime Emmy award.

JJ and Paige were finally putting their relationship back together when Paige became a victim of the Necktie Killer. In his serial killer days, Bo (Peter Reckell) and Hope's (Kristian Alfonso) son-in-law, Ben Weston (Robert Scott Wilson), strangled Paige to death in her dorm room shower when she grew too close to learning the truth about him.

Eve was so devastated by her daughter's death that she tried to have Ciara (Victoria Konefal) killed years later as part of a revenge plot against Ben. She was later placed in Bayview, where we saw her in 2023. JJ eventually became a police officer who is not involved with Gabi Hernandez (Cherie Jimenez), but suspects she might have shot EJ. Ironically, we learned that Paige was Gabi's half-sister after Paige died.
