What to expect on Days of our Lives

EJ DiMera (Daniel Feuerriegel) is the man of the hour once again as half of Salem wants to have a piece of him. Jada (Elia Cantu) approaches Belle (Martha Madison) to help her "nail EJ." Will Belle's feelings for her former brother-in-law get in the way of her agreeing to team up with the police commissioner?

By the end of the week, EJ will be in Salem University Hospital with a bullet wound to the chest, but who shot him? Johnny (Carson Boatman), Ava (Tamara Braun), and Kristen (Stacy Haiduk) are carrying guns this coming week, while Gabi (Cherie Jimenez) makes some more threats. Kate (Lauren Koslow) and Roman (Josh Taylor) are also gunning for EJ after he threatened to hurt Kate's children. It looks like Salem has a new mystery on its hands.

A villain returns

Marlena (Deidre Hall) is shocked to encounter Orpheus (George Del Hoyo) during her search for John (the late Drake Hogestyn) in Estonia. The villain has wanted John dead for years, although his anger seems to be directed toward the wrong man since Roman was the person who killed his wife all those years ago and not John.

He has Marlena right where he wants her this week — staring down the barrel of a gun. Marlena once spent several years on Orpheus' island as his fake wife raising his children, so she knows how to deal with the madman. Will she be able to talk her way out of this mess, or will Steve (Stephen Nichols), Andrew (Colton Little), and Paul (Christopher Sean) swoop in for the rescue?

Back in Salem

Shawn (Brandon Beemer) seems to be a little too concerned about Jada, which is something JJ (Casey Moss) takes notice of. JJ asks Shawn if he has feelings for Jada, but Shawn tries to brush things off.

However, a close encounter at Small Bar brings Shawn's feelings to the surface. he just wants Jada to be happy and worries what will happen if Rafe (Galen Gering) ever learns that Shawn and Jada slept together. Jada is keeping this secret for now, but it's bound to come out at some point.
