Xander (Paul Telfer) has been hellbent on making Brady (Eric Martsolf) pay for running down Sarah (Linsey Godfrey)—with no real proof that he was the one who ran down Sarah. Brady thought that was what happened but was mistaken.
The truth is out there now. Fiona (Serena Scott Thomas) is the one who was driving that fateful night, and now Xander knows. To make matters worse, Fiona tried killing Sarah by throwing her wheelchair down the stairs with Sarah in it. Thankfully, Xander stops Fiona before she gets a chance to perform her latest desperate and dirty deed.

However, Xander now has to face the fact that his mother is still drinking and gets behind the wheel after doing so. Not only that, but she covered it up and tried to get Brady to take the fall.
Before Jada (Elia Cantu) arrives to arrest Fiona, Xander gets to have his say. He lets loose on his mother, but will he seek revenge? He was ready to kill Brady with a baseball bat, but can he control himself knowing it was his own mother that cost Sarah the use of her legs?
Brady's gratitude
Meanwhile, Brady can't believe the turn his life is now taking. He was prepared to go to jail for the next ten years and only see his children when they visited. Now, thanks to his brother, Brady is a free man.
Brady thanks Eric (Greg Vaughan) for everything he has done for Brady these last few weeks, but is it time for Eric to go? He was only in town for Brady's sake, but Nicole and Jude are still waiting for Eric to return to Paris.
