Days of our Lives spoilers, September 27: Will Xander end up behind bars?

What to expect on Days of our Lives

It didn't matter what Sarah said to talk him out of it. Xander was determined to kill Brady and thought he had the perfect way to do it. Setting Brady up to be drugged during a chance meeting in Horton Town Square was the first step. Now, Xander has moved on to the second step, but it doesn't work out quite as planned.

Just as Xander enters Brady's bedroom to enact the next step in his revenge plot, Jada walks in to question Brady. She claims that Sarah called her with some surprise news. Did Sarah contact Jada in the hopes that Jada would stop Xander before it was too late?

Xander tries playing it cool, but Jada can tell Xander is not in Brady's room to be noble and supportive. Sarah warned Xander he could end up behind bars again. Could Sarah send her husband to jail for now, just to get him under control? Perhaps Sarah gave Jada news that would help both Xander and Brady rather than hurt them.

Brady's confusion

When Brady finally wakes, he has no idea what really happened to him. Xander is no longer there, so he finds himself alone, confused, and feeling hungover when he knows he hasn't been drinking.

Brady confides in Eric, telling his brother about his odd encounter when out and about earlier. Brady ran into a man who claimed to know him from A.A. meetings, but Brady didn't remember the man at all. After the encounter and a painful handshake, Brady had been left feeling out of sorts. As Brady tells Eric his tale, does he finally realize there have been some very strange things happening in his life?
