What to expect on Days of our Lives
As Gabi and Melinda remain tied up in the DiMera tunnels, they realize they don't have much time left. Connie planted a bomb that's set to go off any minute, so there's no time to spare.
Gabi and Melinda scream for help, but nobody seems to hear them. They are sure they are about to die, but they also have no idea that Jada is onto Connie's craziness and duplicity. Jada was stunned when she walked into Connie's bedroom. She then ran to tell Rafe all about the "life-size cardboard cutout of Li" she found all tucked in and ready for a good night's sleep.
When Stefan insults Ava, she also ends up at Connie's apartment. Ava used to live there, so she knows the place well, but things don't go quite as planned when she enters the bedroom.
Kristen has questions
Chad is tired of listening to Kristen tell him that she is not sure the woman calling herself Abigail is really Chad's beloved wife. Chad believes the DNA tests and insists this woman is Abigail and that her memories will return. Still, Kristen can't help but keep reminding Chad that there is something off about Chad's back-from-the-dead lost love.
Fake Abby does her best to keep up her act, but now that she is developing feelings for Chad, playing Abigail is becoming harder than ever. Clyde is getting impatient and orders Mark to make sure his sister gets Chad to marry her sooner rather than later.
As Mark relays Chad's message to his sister, he realizes she may put a crimp in their plans. "Abigail" was supposed to remain emotionally detached, but she couldn't pull it off. At least she's made sure to stay away from Chad's adorable children—for now.
Steve's suspicions
Steve has just as many questions as Kristen, but he is keeping them on the down-low and doesn't bring his concerns to Chad just yet. Steve asked Kayla to perform another DNA test on his alleged niece. However, he stressed that there is no way she can know what's really going on.
Steve knows Clyde is somehow behind all of this, and Steve may have to pay a visit to the master criminal. Will Clyde have answers or just talk in riddles as he frequently does?
