Days of our Lives spoilers preview: "What if Rafe isn't Rafe" and more Salem dilemmas

Jada (Elia Cantu) has been asking herself what's wrong with Rafe (Galen Gering) for nearly two months, but not even him leaving her at the altar has made her wonder if the man she has been with was not Rafe at all.

At least BFF Stephanie (Abigail Klein) starts thinking about things and is putting the pieces together. She goes to Jada with her theory that Rafe might not be Rafe, meaning Rafe never cheated on her, and he certainly didn't dump her on their wedding day. This should be good news, right?

Wrong! Stephanie's jaw drops to the floor when a half-naked Shawn (Brandon Beemer) emerges from the bedroom. Jada's heartbreak upon learning "Rafe" slept with a stripper leads her to have a good time with Shawn, but it could be a good time she regrets.

Meanwhile, Arnold realizes that people are onto him, so Rita (Maggie Carney) takes care of that by tazing him. Is she ready to inject him with some of Dr. Rolf's (Richard Wharton) serum next?

What about Shawn's ex?

Shawn turned to Jada because she had informed him that she had seen Belle (Martha Madison) at the DiMera mansion. When Belle confirmed that she was still sleeping with EJ (Daniel Feuerriegel), Shawn was furious. However, not as furious as Belle when Brady (Eric Martsolf) gives her some intel.

Belle is incensed when Brady tells her that EJ knew where Ava (Tamara Braun) was and left her at Aremid tied to a wheelchair. Belle confronts EJ and he doesn't quite know what to say. Odds are he will deny it because that is the EJ thing to do.

Johnny and Chanel's big idea

Sophia (Rachel Boyd) is surprised to learn that Johnny (Carson Boatman) and Chanel (Raven Bowens) want to adopt her baby, but Paulina (Jackee Harry) is more alarmed than surprised. She warns Chanel that adopting a baby from a family member might not be a good idea. Emotions could run high, and the birth parents might not be able to detach themselves.

Marlena (Deidre Hall) wonders why Chanel is in such a rush. Will Paulina and Marlena talk Johnny and Chanel out of making a potentially huge mistake?
