Kristen (Stacy Haiduk) may reunite with her mother at Aremid, but that doesn't mean she unties Ava (Tamara Braun) and breaks her free. Instead, she goes straight back to the DiMera mansion and pretends she hasn't seen anything unusual.

Somehow, EJ makes his way to Aremid, where he finds Ava tied up and meets the infamous Rachel Blake (Roslyn Gentle). EJ (Daniel Feurriegel) is quite curious about how Rachel is alive after all these years, but Rachel is so delighted to see him that she doesn't explain much. However, Ava remains at Aremid with Brady (Eric Martsolf) still desperate to know what really happened to her.

Holly's ready for more

With love in the air for Valentine's Day, Holly (Ashley Puzemis) wants to make this year as memorable as possible. To that end, she buys some sexy lingerie and gets ready for a magical night. Maggie (Suzanne Rogers) suspects what Holly's plans may be and asks her granddaughter if she plans on losing her virginity and having sex with Tate (Leo Howard) for the first time. Will Holly open up to Maggie and get the right advice? Perhaps Holly isn't ready for this and should turn to her mother for guidance.

Tate also wants to make this night special for Holly and brings her flowers. When they get to The Brady Pub, Holly admits that she has some very special things in mind for their evening. With Tate knowing the consequences of his night with Sophia, is he ready to be with Holly in that way?

Then there is young Doug (Peyton Meyer), who clearly has a crush on Holly but knows that she wants Tate. However, he presents a grateful Julie (Susan Seaforth Hayes) flowers for Valentine's Day.

Steve (Stephen Nichols) and Kayla (Mary Beth Evans) enjoy an evening of romance at home after her scare last week. At least they are putting Body and Soul behind them.

And finally, Johnny (Carson Boatman) and Chanel (Raven Bowens) make a major decision in Horton Town Square. They are going to solidify their happy reunion by trying for another baby.
