Johnny (Carson Boatman) has jumped to the wrong conclusions way too often over the last few weeks. First, he assumed Chanel (Raven Bowens) was lusting after Alex (Robert Scott Wilson) at a Body and Soul photoshoot, and he confronted his wife. Chanel put Johnny in his place and took off to her mother's, but she forgave her husband when he apologized.

Now, Johnny is convinced he saw Alex and Chanel having sex in a hospital room when it was really Alex and Stephanie (Abigail Klein). That hotheaded jealousy leads Johnny to seek solace at Small Bar, where he runs into a young stranger and tells her all about his marital troubles.

When that young woman returns to her Salem Inn room the next morning, she tells her mother, Nancy Wesley (Patrika Darbo), that she met somebody the night before. Nancy has a pointed question for Joy (AlexAnn Hopkins): Did she sleep with the man she just met? It looks like Chloe Lane's (Nadia Bjorlin) sister likes getting herself in trouble.

Meanwhile, Johnny loses it with Chanel and blurts out that he saw her sleeping with Alex. How will he feel when Chanel sets the record straight?

The truth is out

In Paris, Steve (Stephen Nichols) turns up just in time to make sure nobody gets shot. He reveals that Chad just married an imposter, and this woman is not Abigail. Needless to say, Chad (Billy Flynn) is devastated.

He begs her to tell him why she lied and pretended to be his dead wife. Mark's (Jonah Robinson) sister is going to have a lot of explaining to do, starting with who she really is.
