FakeAbby has to think fast to make sure she doesn't have to get to know Chad's kids, so she suggests a little getaway to get to know one another better. Chad is all for it and takes her to Paris, where he still has the apartment he and Abby shared when they lived there. Chad hopes it will help FakeAbby remember.

FakeAbby also feels the pressure from Clyde to get Chad to put a ring on it, so she grabs the bull by the horns and proposes to Chad. Meanwhile, back in Salem, Clyde is also pressuring Mark—to kill Chad.

Xander's pleas

When Xander learns that Dr. Rolf has developed a serum that could help Sarah walk again, he runs right to Sarah to beg her to take a chance. Being a doctor and not a mad scientist, Sarah balks. She is a rational physician and doesn't usually believe in Rolf's weird experiments.

While Xander tries to think of any way to help Sarah, Eric puts two and two together and gets Fiona. He finally figures out that she was the one behind the wheel of Brady's car that fateful night that cost Sarah the use of her legs.

Soap opera hospital

The cameras are rolling for Body and Soul as the Salem soap sets up shop at Salem University Hospital. When Hattie learns that her character falls down an elevator shaft, she balks and declares that she doesn't want to die.

Meanwhile, "Dr. Blake Ramoray" warns Johnny not to go into a room, but he doesn't listen. That's when Johnny gets an eyeful of something he can never, ever unsee.
