Xander (Paul Telfer) is determined to keep Philip's (John Paul-Lavoisier) hands off of Titan, but Philip is determined to use whatever he can to undermine Xander. To that end, Xander begs Kate (Lauren Koslow) to talk some sense into her son. Kate knows that Vivian is in town and is all in on whatever Philip is really up to and must put a stop to that, so she tries reasoning with Philip.

Too bad it looks like she doesn't get through to him. Philip hates having Xander as his half-brother rather than just his black sheep cousin and wants to ruin Xander's life. When Philip visits Sarah (Linsey Godfrey) and lets her in on a little secret about her husband, will it come as a shock to Sarah, or will it just be par for the course? After all, Sarah knows every horrible thing Xander is capable of and is married to him anyway.

Better brothers?

At least the DiMera brothers seem to have a more amicable relationship than the Kiriakis brothers at the moment. Chad (Billy Flynn) visits with EJ (Daniel Feuerriegel) and asks for a big favor. Cat (AnnaLynne McCord) is at EJ's mercy right now and Chad is not sure he wants her behind bars. He might be furious with her, but there is a connection between them. Chad also wants to know what Clyde (James Read) is really up to. After all, he is still holding Cat's mother hostage. Does Chad ask EJ to let Cat go free?

It seems strange that Clyde would kidnap a woman and then ask her daughter to pose as Abigail just to get his hands on Chad's fortune. Chad is not the only one who wants to get to the bottom of things. Roman (Josh Taylor) and Steve (Stephen Nichols) are also curious and may do some investigating on their own. Will they solve this odd little mystery?
