Days of our Lives spoilers, October 7: Desperate "Abby" pleads with Chad

What to expect on Days of our Lives

With Julie's help, Chad finally makes a big decision and informs "Abigail" that he wants them to tell Thomas and Charlotte that their mother is alive. FakeAbby was trying to avoid that prospect as long as possible, and she needs to find a way out of growing close to these children.

To that end, FakeAbby suggests that Chad take her on a trip. Chad is a little taken aback by the idea, but FakeAbby seems desperate to get out of Salem. She never expected Clyde to take their con this far, and she doesn't know any other way to avoid Thomas and Charlotte while swindling Chad in a bid to save her mother.

Will Chad go along with FakeAbby's idea? It could be a good way to jog her memory while they grow close again. If only Chad knows just the right place they can go...

A moment of truth for Gabi and Stefan

Gabi was slightly disappointed when she learned the flowers Stefan was carrying when he entered her hospital room were not from him, but she remained cordial. Then, Stefan dropped the ultimate bomb. He had just filed for divorce.

Gabi was not expecting to hear that, as Stefan seemed sincere in wanting to make their marriage work. He had begged her to forgive him multiple times, so Gabi thought he was willing to be patient and wait.

Finally, Gabi decides to listen to Stefan so they can discuss the state of their marriage and decide if this really is the end. Gabi was in jail for the majority of their marriage, and that took a toll on things. Perhaps they can't really go back and start over.
