Days of our Lives spoilers, October 29: Chad has heartbreaking news for Julie

Now that his disastrous trip to Paris is over and he is back in Salem, Chad has some dreaded tasks at hand. First, he visits Cat Greene in the Salem PD interrogation room.

Cat is under arrest and handcuffed to a chair, so Chad has a captive audience as he tries to make sense of her many lies. He still can't believe that he fell for an imposter pretending to be his beloved dead wife. Chad knows that Cat's mother is still in danger, thanks to Clyde, but that doesn't mean what she did was justifiable.

Chad also has to go home and tell Julie the truth. Abigail isn't alive after all, and the woman he thought was Abigail had been fooling everyone all along. Julie is devastated to hear that her cousin is still dead, but she also knows that Chad has to break the news to two other people. Jack and Jennifer are going to be beside themselves to learn that a woman was only pretending to be their daughter.

Holly's big decision

Holly also had an interesting time in Paris, but now she is back with some emotional issues she needs to take care of. After spending time with her mother, Holly now understands better what happened with Eric and her father. Eric paid for his crime, and it took Nicole a long time to forgive him, but she eventually did.

Now, it's Holly's turn to forgive, which is a great relief to Eric. He has always thought of Holly as a daughter, and it broke his heart that Holly hated him. However, she is ready to make amends so Eric can return to Nicole and Jude with peace of mind.

Is Holly also ready to make amends with Tate? She jumped to some harsh conclusions about Brady and alienated him. However, if Sophia gets her way, it might be too late for Holly and Tate.
