Eric is sure he knows what really happened the night of Sarah's hit-and-run. However, he was surprised to learn that Sarah didn't know. Despite Sarah not remembering who was behind the wheel, Eric is still sure he is right, so he brings his theory to Brady.
Eric and Brady go over that night step-by-step. Brady still doesn't remember driving drunk but is shocked when Eric suggests that Fiona decided to drive him home and then set him up. Eric is convinced Fiona freaked out when she realized what she had done, so she drove Brady home and placed him in the front seat of the car.

Brady has to admit that the theory does sound plausible. It's just a matter of getting Sarah to remember what happened or for Fiona to admit to her crime.
Sarah confronts Fiona
Meanwhile, the whole fateful night comes back to Sarah as she goes over her entire conversation with Eric. His theory sounds right, so she does everything possible to jog her memory. Suddenly, she can see Fiona clear as day in the driver's seat. Fiona walks into the room just as Sarah's memory fully returns.
Fiona is horrified when Sarah tells her that she knows Fiona was the one driving the car, which cost Sarah the use of her legs. Fiona denies it, of course, but then has to think fast. Fiona will lose her newfound relationship with Xander if Sarah can name her as the driver. Xander could never forgive Fiona, knowing she was drinking, and ran his new wife down with someone else's car.
Not only that, but Fiona knows her days as a free woman are numbered. She committed a serious crime and tried to cover it up by framing someone else. Fiona knows she has to do something desperate that could land her in worse trouble than she already is. Will Sarah survive another rash move by her unhinged mother-in-law?
