Days of our Lives spoilers, November 28: A bittersweet Thanksgiving of Salem homecomings

What to expect on Days of our Lives

Julie (Susan Seaforth Hayes) is thrilled to welcome Jack (Matthew Ashford) and Jennifer (Melissa Reeves) back to Salem and into the Horton home for the holidays. However, their homecoming is not without its fair share of drama.

Jack and Jennifer are appalled to see that Cat (AnnaLynne McCord) is there with Chad (Billy Flynn). After what she did, impersonating their dead daughter and making them believe Abigail was back was beyond the pale. Jennifer knew in her gut the woman who stood before her in the DiMera mansion wasn't her beloved Abby.

Now, she has a chance to confront the woman on her own turf. Jennifer rails at Cat for what she did and promptly smacks her across the face. Will Chad explain that Cat is there as part of his plan to bring down Clyde Weston (James Read)? After all, it was Clyde who blackmailed Cat into pretending to be Abigail while he threatened her mother.

JJ (Casey Moss) is also happy to see his parents after all this time but is just as angry at Cat as Jack and Jennifer are. He already let Chad know exactly how he felt when Cat was released from jail. However, Jack and Jennifer want to forget all that for a while and enjoy their time with Julie.

Later JJ (Casey Moss)) takes a break from the festivities to visit with Gabi (Cherie Jimenez). They have been becoming quite close lately and could resume their old romance.

Back at the Horton House, Jack is about to make a shocking and heartbreaking discovery.

Lani and Eli are back in Salem

Julie and Paulina (Jackee Harry) welcome even more family members. While Eli (Lamon Archey) makes sure to stop in and see his grandmother for Thanksgiving, he and Lani (Sal Stowers) also make their way to Abe (James Reynolds) and Paulina's with their twins, Jules and Carver.

Paulina is overjoyed to reunite with her daughter and son-in-law. Lani and Eli's presence makes the holiday complete. While Lani and Eli visit often, Paulina would like nothing more than for them to move back to Salem for good. Is that in the cards, or is it just a pipe dream?
