Joy (AlexAnn Hopkins) begged Johnny (Carson Boatman) not to tell Chanel (Raven Bowens) about the night they spent together. After all, she and Chanel have to work together as co-stars on Body and Soul, and she doesn't want anything to ruin that. She's grateful to have landed this gig and is determined to protect it.

That's one reason she has been diligently running lines with Alex at his place. When Joy and Alex (Robert Scott Wilson) start talking about their lives, she accidentally lets it slip that she spent the night with Johnny. Alex is shocked and even more surprised to learn Johnny cheated on Chanel because he thought that Chanel was cheating on him with Alex.

Alex now knows that his and Stephanie's (Abigail Klein) romp in that hospital bed had more far-reaching consequences than he thought. Joy begs Alex to keep her secret to himself, but can he? Sure, he will promise, but Alex could accidentally let it slip out or confide in the wrong person.

Chanel grows suspicious

Chanel forgave Johnny for calling her a slut, but she has no idea that he cheated on her with her new co-star. Johnny was drunk and foolish after jumping to the wrong conclusions, so guilt ate away at him. He wanted to tell Chanel the truth and unburden his conscience, but Joy talked him out of it.

Neither Johnny nor Joy count on Johnny to talk in his sleep, but that is exactly what he does. He mutters Joy's name and tells her that they shouldn't. Chanel is sitting in bed right by her husband's side when she hears him talk about Joy.

When Johnny wakes, Chanel asks him to explain himself as she wonders why Johnny would call out Joy's name. He barely knows her. Johnny will have a whole lot of explaining to do, but will Chanel buy anything Johnny has to say? His compounding lies are bound to catch up with him one day. When they do, Johnny will have to face Chanel's wrath.
