It's the day our favorite Salemites have been waiting for. After all that blood, sweat, tears, affairs, misunderstandings, and drama, the premiere of the rebooted Body and Soul is here. The behind-the-scenes action at Salem's soap-within-a-soap can rival anything that Leo (Greg Rikaart) came up with for the screen.

Abe (James Reynolds) is on pins and needles, waiting to see if his dream would really come true. Who would have guessed that Salem's one-time top cop and mayor would become a soap opera producer? Abe and Kate (Lauren Koslow) have given it their all and pray for success.

Johnny's (Carson Boatman) and Chanel's (Raven Bowens) futures are tied up in Body and Soul in more ways than one. Johnny is the director, and Chanel is the star, so they have to get this right. Johnny also has to make sure Chanel never learns that he had sex with Chanel's co-star, Joy Wesley (AlexAnn Hopkins). He truly believed Chanel was cheating on him with her leading man, Alex Kiriakis (Robert Scott Wilson).

Johnny is about to learn the hard way that keeping this secret is easier said than done. Chanel is not suspicious yet, but she does notice that Johnny is acting strangely. He can't seem to look her in the eye and looks sick whenever he sees her talking to Joy.

Johnny wants to come clean, but Joy doesn't want Chanel to know what happened or she is afraid Chanel will make work life miserable.

Body and Soul's head writer might find his life could be an inspiration for his soap opera. Leo (Greg Rikaart) is about to share a close and romantic moment with Javi (Al Calderon), but where will it lead? It seems like Javi is harboring some sort of secret. Does Leo get an inkling that Javi is hiding something, or will this romantic moment turn into a romantic night?
