The longer Sarah (Linsey Godfrey) keeps the truth from Xander (Paul Telfer), the more on edge she becomes. She thought she was doing the right thing when she decided not to tell Xander that Philip's (John-Paul Lavoisier) letter from Victor (The late John Aniston) was a forgery, but now she is not sure. One reason she is not sure is because too many people now know the truth, and she doesn't even know about Vivian (Louise Sorel) yet.

With Alex (Robert Scott Wilson) in the know, Sarah is sure that Xander will discover her lies sooner rather than later, but that does not stop her from lying some more. Sarah tells Xander another whopper on Monday. Will he start putting two and two together already, or will he continue to trust his wife and brother implicitly?

Meanwhile, Stephanie (Abigail Klein) tells Alex that he has a decision to make. He can also continue lying to Xander and try to keep the peace between Xander and Philip — or he can do the right thing and tell the truth. At this point, however, Stephanie is not even sure what the right thing is.

Holly's quest

Now that her relationship with Tate (Leo Howard) is on the rocks again, Holly (Ashley Puzemis) wonders if she should pursue her other option, namely Doug (Peyton Meyer). He had already confessed his feelings for her, but Holly didn't let him get very far with his declaration. Instead, she shut him down because she already had a boyfriend who she was waiting to have sex with for the first time.

On Monday, Holly tries to figure out just how deep Doug's feelings for her are. Might she share some of those feelings? Maybe Holly will realize there's more than just one man in this world, and she should try seeing where things go with Doug.

As for Tate, he is not sure how to feel. He didn't think Holly would get so angry when he ratted out Doug. At least Sophia (Rachel Boyd) is right there to lend her comfort and support. What a surprise!
