Johnny (Carson Boatman) and Chanel (Raven Bowens) are anxious to make a good impression on Sophia's (Rachel Boyd) mom but realize that is going to be easier said than done. They knew she was looking for the perfect prim and proper couple, but now Sophia went and lied to her mother about some of the details.

Chanel is surprised to learn that the fictional version of her now leads a Bible study group. Johnny is also a good Christian young man who has never made any mistakes in his life, at least according to Sophia. Imagine if her mother ever learned that Johnny had been possessed by the devil and that's why his first marriage to Chanel ended.

Johnny and Chanel are still determined to make the best of things and put on the perfect act so that Amy Choi (Shi Ne Nielson) agrees to let them adopt her grandchild. If only Johnny wasn't a DiMera with all those DiMera secrets...

It won't help Johnny and Chanel's cause that their parents are constantly at odds. EJ (Daniel Feuerriegel) and Paunlina (Jackee Harry) can't stand one another but EJ is still determined to be district attorney again and is relentless when he speaks to Paulina about it. In fact, he will barely leave her alone.

However, they need to try to get along for Johnny and Chanel's sake. They know they have to make a good impression on Sophia and her mother if Johnny and Chanel's dreams are to come true. They are ready to put on their fake smiles and help their kids, but everyone around them could cut the tension with a knife.

Still, the DiMera mansion is going to have to seem like June Cleaver's house when Johnny and Chanel try to put on the best show possible for the Chois. Too bad EJ's recent schemes are about to catch up with him in a big way. At least Johnny is also a Brady, so maybe it will be easier to meet that side of the family...
