Days of our Lives spoilers, March 14: Johnny finally learns the horrifying truth about EJ

What to expect on Days of our Lives

Johnny (Carson Boatman) is confused when Roman (Josh Taylor) shouts that EJ (Daniel Feuerriegel) is just as bad as Arnold Finegar (Galen Gering)and did the same exact thing Arnold did to Sami (Alison Sweeney) all those years ago. Johnny thinks his grandfather is also confused, telling him that his dad isn't a rapist.

When Roman tells him that EJ is indeed a rapist, Johnny is left reeling and refuses to believe such a horrific thing about his father. However, things are about to get much worse. Johnny processes the information and thinks he may be able to live with it when Kate (Lauren Koslow) rubs salt in this very open, recent, and raw wound. The person EJ raped was Johnny's mother Sami.

That news rocks Johnny's world and he is sure that Kate and Roman have to be lying or very sadly mistaken. His father would have never raped his mother, not after knowing what happened between Sami and Arnold. How could EJ feel guilty about letting that happen when he did the exact same thing? Is this the precursor to Sami returning to town?

EJ pours his heart out

EJ has no idea that his deepest and darkest secret is being revealed to his son at the very moment he realizes that his feelings for Belle (Martha Madison) were stronger than he imagined. In fact, he can't wait to tell Belle exactly how he feels so he shows up at her front door.

Belle was also just thiking about EJ so she was surprised to see him at the door. She is even more surprised to hear what he has to say. EJ opens up about his feelings for Belle, leaving her overwhelmed. Does he confess what he did to Rafe and Jada (Elia Cantu) — as well as Ava (Tamara Braun) when he left her tied to a wheelchair?

Belle just wants the truth but the truth could be more than she ever bargained for. Is Belle willing to overlook EJ's transgressions? If she thinks the matter over for too long, it just might be too late.
