Ava (Tamara Braun) has been sure that Kristen (Stacy Haiduk) is the one who has been sending her threatening texts telling her to stay away from Brady (Eric Martsolf) — or else. However, Kristen has denied everything and Brady believes her. He knows Kristen is in the habit of doing things like this, but Kristen seems to really mean it when she says she has nothing to do with the mysterious texts.

In her quest to get to the bottom of things, Ava visits the DiMera mansion on her own and confronts Kristen. She demands answers with Rachel standing right there. The audience knows that Rachel (Finley Rose Slater) has been the one telling Ava to stay away from her dad, but it looks like Ava is about to get the big news, as is Kristen.

After Ava leaves, Kristen sits down with her daughter and tells her that she can't just threaten people she doesn't like. A baffled Rachel wants to know why since she watches her mom do it all the time. Kristen is going to have to think of a good answer for that one because Rachel has a point.

Is Sophia ready to gloat?

There was a time when Sophia (Madelyn Kientz) and Holly (Ashley Puzemis) were the best of friends, but as often happens with friends, a boy got in the way. Now Sophia is in love with Tate (Leo Howard) and pregnant with his child, while Tate and Holly are in love with each other. That's a recipe for heartache and disaster, but Sophia is taking full advantage of it.

She visits Holly and tells her that she will be having this child and marrying Tate. Her mother has decreed it so and who are they to argue with Sophia's mother?

That wasn't what Holly heard when Tate told her that Sophia was pregnant, so Holly can hardly believe it. How can Tate do this to her, and why? He said nothing would change, but she knew that statement was too good to be true. How will Tate handle Holly's wrath when he learns she now knows the truth?
