Days of our Lives spoilers, January 7: Does Stephanie Make a Shocking Discovery?

After her night with Philip (John-Paul Lavoisier), Stephanie (Abigail Klein) has decided her year got off to a good start. Yes, she had Alex (Robert Scott Wilson) on her mind but managed to convince Philip he had nothing to worry about. Stephanie is determined to live her life without Alex, especially after seeing him with Joy (AlexAnn Hopkins).

So, what does Stephanie do? She visits with another former flame and asks Chad (Billy Flynn) for a favor. Stephanie needs some information and believes that Chad can help her with her research. However, when they sit down at Chad's laptop, do they discover a secret Philip has been hiding?

Stephanie is so proud of her new boyfriend and what she thinks he can accomplish at Titan. She even helped him with his case against Xander. With Stephanie set to call Philip a fraud this week, does she learn that the letter Philip claims is from Victor is nothing but a forgery? That would change Xander's life forever and put things in perspective for Stephanie. However, she also knows that it's very possible that she's lost Alex to Joy. Oh, what a complicated life Stephanie leads.

Leo's busy day

Leo (Greg Rikaart) is still pining for Javi (Al Calderon) and knows he made a major mistake, accusing him of leaking Body and Soul spoilers for the Spectator. He wants Javi back, but winning him back is easier said than done.

Leo starts his day by meeting with both Hattie (Deidre Hall) and Bonnie (Judi Evans) in his Salem Inn room. Do his two ex-jailbird soap opera divas have more demands for the head writer, even with their soap diva life not turning out the way they would have liked?

Leo later runs into Javi and tries to talk to him about trying again. However, Leo doesn't know that Javi has chosen to move on. He is with Kerry (Derek Yates) now and just spent the night with Leo. While Javi still has feelings for Leo, he is also enjoying his time with Kerry. Are we looking at a triangle on our hands?
