Days of our Lives spoilers, January 27: Rachel is rescued...but what about Ava?

What to expect on Days of our Lives

Rachel (Finley Rose Slater) seems to have hit paydirt at Aremid. It's like magic brought her there, and the same magic introduced her to a mysterious Woman in White (Roslyn Gentle) who is willing to do whatever Rachel wants. The older woman even knew how to lure Ava (Tamara Braun) there so she and Rachel could clock her on the head and knock her out cold.

Brady (Eric Martsolf) and Kristen (Stacy Haiduk) also make their way to the mysterious house and are relieved to find their daughter and bring her home. However, they have no idea Ava is tied up and being held hostage. The Woman in White is ready to keep Ava away from Brady for Kristen's sake.

Rachel has no problem going home, knowing that Ava won't get in the way of a Brady and Kristen reunion. This is exactly what Rachel wanted, and she seems to have lucked right into it.

Teen pregnancy blues

Sophia (Madelyn Kientz) didn't have much luck talking her mother into the idea of giving the baby up for adoption. Sophia truly does not feel ready to be a mother at this moment, and considering that she is still in high school, it's understandable. However, her mother doesn't understand at all and seems to be making Sophia have this child as a punishment for being irresponsible.

When Sophia has a new proposal for Tate (Leo Howard), does she suggest doing something that would please her mother but get them out of having to be teenage parents? Sophia is resourceful and creative, but will Tate go for whatever Sophia's idea might be?

Tate also has Holly (Ashley Puzemis) on his mind and wonders if their relationship is doomed. That could be an accurate assessment. Holly is jealous and confused but trying to be mature about a situation in which her former BFF is pregnant with her boyfriend's child. Holly once again turns to Doug III (Peyton Meyer) and pours out her heart. Doug is more than happy to be a shoulder for Holly to cry on — and likely much more if she'll let him.
