Now that Rachel (Finley Rose Slater) is home safe and sound after making Ava (Tamara Braun) vanish from her father's life, Kristen (Stacy Haiduk) and Brady (Eric Martsolf) are relieved but also know they have to deal with their daughter's many troubles.

Is Kristen about to use Rachel's behavioral issues to snare Brady back into her web? This would make all of Rachel's dreams come true and could make her act out even worse if she thinks it can bring her parents back together.

With Ava out of the way, there would be no distractions for Brady. Kristen isn't above using a child to get her way, and Brady will do anything for his little girl. Will Brady be snowed by Kristen once again? Perhaps Kristen really is on the up and up and more worried about Rachel than anything else.

Little does Brady know that Ava is being held hostage at Aremid and not in Hong Kong, visiting Tripp (Lucas Adams) and Wendy (Victoria Grace). Will Ava find her way out of this mess with the mysterious Woman in White (Roslyn Gentle)?

Paulina demands answers

With "Rafe" (Galen Gering) insisting that Jada (Elia Cantu) is a crooked cop and calling off his wedding right in the middle of the ceremony, Mayor Paulina (Jackee Harry) wants concrete evidence to back up Rafe's claims. While Shawn (Brandon Beemer) produced an entire dossier, Paulina is not quite sure she believes everything in it.

Something seems suspicious about Rafe's last-minute accusations and decision. Will she smell a rat and do her own investigation?

If Paulina does try to get to the bottom of things, she might want to team up with Steve (Stephen Nichols) and Jada. The man behind Black Patch has a theory about what has been going on with Rafe and shares it with Jada.

Does he suspect that Rafe might not be Rafe after all? Steve has seen a lot during his time in Salem, including doppelgangers and imposters. He knows how to spot these things better than most people in Salem and could be just who Paulina and Jada need to get to the bottom of things.
